Pecan Fingers — The Best***
Ingredients:
1 cup Pecans
3/4 C Shortening (1/2 butter and shortening)
3/4 C confectioners sugar
1 1/2 C flour
2 eggs
1 C Brown Sugar
2 TBSP. Flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Cream Shortening and Sugar
Blend in 1 1/2 C. Flour
Press in 9x13 pan
Bake 12–15 minutes
Mix other ingredients, spread over hot baked layer and bake 20 minutes longer. Cool. Cut into bars 3x1 in.
